Catching Up

the newest little Duncan baby has been making me so sick that I haven't been able to blog in 2 months so here is my best attempt at catching up. we haven't taken many pictures or been on many adventures but I'm sure you'll be able to see how much our little lady has grown!

First Birthday!

our sweet little adeline turned one year old last thursday. we had some family time on her birthday, she and her dad had a really fun time with her birthday hat! on saturday adeline's friends came over for a party. she got very shy when we were singing to her. but really enjoyed eating cake and playing with her friends and cousins.

it is hard to believe that the Lord has blessed us with one year enjoying adeline. she has brought more joy to our lives than we ever imagined. she is a constant reminder of our Lord's gracious loving care to us. she is indeed a good and precious gift from our great God.

The Big Fall!

this week i had to get out adeline's box of warmer clothes to take camping as well as the suitcase so i could get our backpacks out. adeline was being very quiet in her room. when i went in to check on her she was on top of the box- very proud of herself. she had a gret time... untill the big fall!

Sweetest Moment Yet

austin was a bit discouraged last night. he was laying on the couch talking to me and adeline came up, kissed his arm and gave him her toy.

she is so sweet!

An Earthquake?!

baby adeline woke us up last night due to an earthquake. she was a little confused!

Family Fun

adeline had such fun with her cousins this weekend. she gave so many smooches, giggles and hugs to them.

Pig Tails!

in an effort to controll adeline's crazy hair i put in pig tails this weekend. although they didn't really do the trick they certainly made us laugh!

The Land of Enchantment Indeed

she loved meeting her great grandma, spending time with her grandparents and aunts and uncles and enjoying the albuquerque rain. we had a wonderful time!

this morning adeline discovered that she can see trees if she looks out our window. she loved it!

adeline has been crawling all over the house. several times this week she has crawled all the way from her room to the living room or kitchen. she's so happy when she reaches her destination!

First Toothbrush

adeline learned to brush her 4 teeth this week. she was a bit sceptical at first but then she loved it. she is very proud of herself!

Fourth of July Fun!

austin's parents came to visit this week and we had a lot of fun adventures!

beach day: it was so cold out in the morning we had to bundle up. adeline loved to see the waves. she clung to her dad for dear life and giggled, kicked and laughed!

Camp

last week we took the junior high students from grace to camp. it was 5 days and our little adeline was such a good camper.

about three days into camp she showed her sassy side!
